Consider taking such items to the Household Hazardous Waste Collection event on Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.  at the Oak Ridge Public Works Building, 100 Woodbury Lane (behind the Hobby Lobby shopping center). To learn more, call the Anderson County Solid Waste Department at (865) 463-6845.
