Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation has notified Anderson County that all Fall Household Hazardous Waste Collection Events across the State will be cancelled. As of now, TDEC plans to re-assess the situation in Spring 2021 and determine if HHWC events safely can be held at that time.

Effective Monday, October 5, 2020, the Wolf Valley Convenience Center will return to normal operations and again begin to accept recyclable materials.

Volunteers are needed for the next Norris Lake Cleanup in Anderson, Campbell and Union Counties.
