The new Wolf Valley Convenience Center, located at 2520 E. Wolf Valley Road, opened to the public June 1. County officials conducted a ceremonial ribbon-cutting on June 3 at the new site.
All Anderson County convenience centers will be closed Monday, May 30, 2022, for Memorial Day.
The Melton Hill Lake Users Association’s (MHLUA) annual River Rescue is scheduled for Saturday, April 2, 2022, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. The Keep the Tennessee River Beautiful organization will again partner with MHLUA for this year’s cleanup. Local volunteers pulled an estimated 518 pounds of trash from the Clinch River during the Clinch River Cleanup event hosted July 10th by the local chapter of Trout Unlimited and the Tennessee Valley Authority.
